Wünderbar Weinachten
Our December holiday/birthday extravaganza went off the beaten track this year as we spent most of December in Europe. The Engelbrecht side of the family met in Germany to launch a weeklong river cruise, Jewels Along the Danube.
Prior to the cruise, Evya, Allyndreth, Matt and Christina went to Munich a few days early to explore and experience German Christmas preparations.
After the cruise, the five of us spent a week in London, spanning either side of Christmas.
As a result of our globetrotting, our Christmas celebrations and the December birthday festivities for Matt and Tyrian spanned 6 weeks. Four birthday parties (x2) and four Christmas observances. We’ll be hibernating the rest of the Winter.
